Banquet Community,
This Fall was an amazing season for the Banquet Community and I want to thank each and every one of you who participated in any way. None of this would be possible without the love and support you graciously provide. It’s is truly a blessing when our community comes together in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To all the team members who participated, thank you for your sacrifice and dedication.  Continue to pray for me as I navigate my way as the Community Lay Director.  I am allowing the Holy Spirit to just take control of any and all things that come my way.  I apologize if I, in any way, got outside of who God called me to be.

I look forward to meeting and seeing our new community members in action, “Life of Christian Action,” serving in some capacity. There are many opportunity’s for you to get involved, not only with the banquet but where you are right now. So, continue in service by being the hands and feet of Christ.

I am in the process of helping with team selections for the Spring and I hope those who want to serve get their opportunity. We are praying for who God wants to be on the teams. Continue filling out those volunteer sheets and continue to serve. Your service does not go unnoticed.  Hebrews 6:10-12 – For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

I was blessed to be a part of the Vienna Correctional Center Great Banquet team before Thanksgiving and I just can’t get enough of God’s amazing love for us. If you have never been a part of our jail ministry, I encourage you to contact Barry McGaw or Jason Eastwood. It is truly a blessing when we see the seeds we plant grow before our very eyes. I know God was well pleased.
